Easter table decor ideas

Easter table décor

Easter is the perfect time to get together with friends and family for a delicious meal followed by plenty of chocolate. To make it egg-stra special (sorry, we had to get that in) and impress your guests, decorate your table with an Easter theme. From beautiful blooms and pastel tones to cute bunnies and sweet treats, we’ve put together some ideas to help you design your Easter table.

Pastels, pastels and more pastels
Pastel hues have symbolised Easter for a long time so why not inject shades of pale blue, candy floss pink, lavender, buttercream yellow and mint green onto your dining table. Fill bowls with chocolate mini eggs and other sweet treats and include crockery in these delightful tones. Finish with pretty flowers in stem vases to bring some Spring into your room.

Cute as a bunny
For something subtle yet impressive, try making these cute bunny napkins which will go down well with both children and adults. Plus, they only take ten minutes to make. All you need is some wooden craft beads, pink paint, raffia (for the whiskers) and as many napkins as you need. Add further bunny accessories if you want to go all out.

Beautiful blooms
The smell and look of fresh flowers always goes down well and can look beautiful as a centrepiece. Choose the colours you want and pop them into unused milk jars or jam jars and display where guests can take in the view. Alternatively, as an unusual edition, elevate your blooms by hanging a ring of flowers above the table.

Easter tree centrepiece
To show off your artistic skills create an Easter tree centrepiece for your table. Not only does this create height, but it creates a visual feature that your guests can admire. Simply get a jug and fill with willow sticks, add some moss, then decorate by hanging a range of small and larger Easter egg baubles and any other decorations that you fancy.

Bring the outside in
There is no denying that the trend for all things botanical is here to stay and what perfect time to bring it indoors than at Easter. A table setting filled with lush greenery and mini daffodils mixed with simple white candles and white crockery creates the perfect ‘outdoor’ atmosphere. You can also decorate with some moss, wooden placemats or use log slices for a more rustic feel.
