Practically perfect pantries

If you’ve always wanted a larder but don’t have the space for an extra room, or the budget, then a pantry is a great alternative. In fact, the pantry is becoming highly desirable in kitchen design and is now a must-have storage solution. Why? The pantry is extremely versatile and can be designed so that it is crafted to suit your needs, from glass shelving, to drawers for wine bottles to spice racks fitted into the doors. These large units are getting taller, and with plenty of space, we hope you agree that they are practically perfect.

We’ve rounded up a number of options to inspire your pantry design.

Wooden pantry
A popular choice is this wooden oak pantry with open shelving, dovetailed drawers and spice racks fitted to the upper doors. Each drawer has been engraved for a bespoke touch allowing you to organise specific items, so you can easily find them.

The pantry bar
For those who enjoy entertaining, pantry bars are on the rise – think floating glass shelves for displaying wine glasses and decanters and a bar shelf for all important drink preparation. The below example includes drawers crafted to lay bottles of wine for those special occasions. To show off your wares, opt for pocket doors that slide and hide away – which are ideal for space saving and for when entertaining guests.

Dynamic Space Tower
Another pantry option that is being incorporated in kitchen design is the Dynamic Space Tower. Maximising internal space in the kitchen, this impressive tower is available in the broadest selection of tall unit heights, widths and depths with the option of glass sided drawers for excellent visibility of stored goods.  The below example also has the addition of top shelves, perfect for storing your favourite cook books.

The coffee cupboard
If you are a regular tea or coffee drinker, then you’ll love this pantry crafted specifically for the caffeine connoisseur. This bespoke unit includes glass shelves for your cups and saucers, a coffee machine and a sink and tap all in one place which is concealed and revealed by its pocket doors. Wooden chopping boards have also been made and neatly stored into their own slot adding another unique element.
